DiscoveryLab was created to solve a practical challenge: how to record classroom lessons without adding complexity for teachers.

The idea began over a decade ago in collaboration with a high-performing Victorian high school, where lesson recording was being explored as part of teacher coaching and peer review. At the time, available solutions were complex, expensive, and difficult to use in everyday teaching.

So we built something simpler.

Our early solution focused on a single goal – make lesson recording effortless. With a simple, one-button system, teachers could capture lessons for later review without disruption.
